Couture boutique

About

Area : 800 sqft

Foot traffic : 20 - 30 persons per day

Users : Owner, 4 tailors, 2 assistants

Total project value : $120,000

For this project, I had the pleasure of working with a high-end fashion brand to create a space that reflects the elegance and sophistication of their brand.

My goal was to design a space that not only showcases their beautiful clothing but also provides a luxurious shopping experience for their clientele.

The result is a space that seamlessly blends modern design elements with classic touches to create a stunning and memorable shopping experience.

The color palette of the couture clothing boutique is a combination of warm neutrals and rich jewel tones, creating an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere. The mood board features a blend of vintage and industrial design elements, with elements such as distressed leather chairs, exposed brick walls, and wrought iron accents.

The vintage elements bring a sense of timelessness and nostalgia, while the industrial elements add a modern edge and a sense of rawness. The resulting blend of styles creates a unique and captivating atmosphere that perfectly reflects the brand's aesthetic.

The archway in the changing room was a deliberate design choice that serves both a functional and aesthetic purpose.

The inspiration for this element came from the brand's signature emblem, which features an arch shape.

It also serves a functional purpose by defining the changing area and adding a sense of privacy without completely closing off the space. It also allows natural light to filter through and adds visual interest to the otherwise blank wall.

The owner's cabin was designed to be a multi-functional space, serving as both a private office and a place for client meetings. To achieve this, we created a vintage custom built-in desk, providing ample workspace for the owner. We also incorporated a comfortable seating area in the opposite corner of the room, perfect for meetings with clients.

The space was designed with a muted color palette, warm lighting, and rich textures to create a sense of comfort and luxury. Additionally, we added artwork and decorative elements that reflect the brand's aesthetic, tying the space into the overall design of the boutique. The owner's cabin is a functional and inviting space that perfectly balances the needs of the owner and the brand.

The open space where the couture clothing is on display was designed to be both functional and visually stunning. The space features clean lines, simple shapes, and a muted color palette, allowing the clothing to take center stage. Large windows allow natural light to flood the space, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

A seating space was also incorporated that catered to the comfort of the boutique's patrons.

To add visual interest and texture, we incorporated elements such as hardwood flooring, velvet curtains, rattan chairs and brass accents. The clothing is displayed on custom-designed racks and tables, providing a seamless and cohesive look.

Overall, the open space where the couture clothing is on display is a beautiful and inviting area that perfectly showcases the brand's collections.
