About the projects.
Here you will find a range of furniture designs, that are modern and minimalist. Each piece has been carefully crafted with attention to detail, quality materials, and innovative techniques.
These furniture items were specifically designed for a commercial office space in Pune, where I designed a conference table, a director's desk and a library and storage unit, that was not only aesthetically pleasing, but also equally functional.

Entangled table.
Brief
The task at hand was to design a conference table for a commercial space that had certain specifications, including the ability to seat up to 14 people, a connection for the projector, pop up sockets and a clean aesthetic. Instead of opting for a standard corporate look that typically features modular furniture, the clients expressed a desire for a unique and distinctive design. To achieve this, I presented them with a range of mood boards and texture boards to choose from, ultimately settling on a wooden and stone finish aesthetic for this opulent conference table.
Ideation
To achieve a dynamic design that stood out from traditional conference table designs found in corporate offices, I experimented with various shapes. I played around with different geometrical and fluid forms to achieve a distinctive look.
Material Palette
The final material palette included flexible plywood for the legs, veneer, and quartz for the table top. Careful attention was paid to the selection and execution of materials to ensure a flawless finish.

Subsequently, the next phase involved developing detailed working drawings that the carpenters could use as a reference to construct the table on site. Following nearly a month of diligent work by the skilled laborers, the table was completed.
In addition to the conference table, a custom light fixture was also created to be installed above it. The shape of the fixture was specifically designed to complement the conference table top, resulting in a cohesive and unified look.
Crafted from plywood, the fixture was polished to match the table's veneer. An LED strip was incorporated into the fixture, and covered with a strip of acrylic to diffuse the light.

Director's Desk.
Brief
To meet the specific requirements of the managing director, a custom desk was designed with careful consideration given to both aesthetics and functionality. The desk was crafted using plywood and veneer, with a sleek glass top surface. The design incorporated ample storage space to accommodate the director's needs. With a focus on attention to detail and quality craftsmanship, the resulting desk was not only functional but also visually appealing, contributing to the overall cohesive design of the commercial space.
Ideation
I experimented with using linear patterns while incorporating them with a fluid form that had curves and rounded edges. The client also preferred a classic wooden finish with a glass top for his desk, which further inspired me to come up with a combination of the two to create a modern aesthetic.
Material Palette
The final material palette included plywood for the entire body of the desk including legs, table top, drawers and the outer paneling. It was lastly enveloped in veneer, and toughened glass for the table top. Careful attention was paid to the selection and execution of materials to ensure a flawless finish.

Library Unit
Brief
For this project, the aim was to create a library unit for an office space that was both functional and visually appealing. There was a particular wall with a niche that was used to build the unit.
The unit needed to have ample storage space, shutters for concealing important documents, and open shelving for ease of use.
It was to be made of high-quality and durable materials that complement the surrounding environment and have a cohesive color palette. It was also designed to be structurally sound and adaptable to fit within the dimensions and layout of the office space.
Ideation
For this library unit I envisioned the use of linear patterns that complimented the overall aesthetic of the office space that I was designing. Based on the requirement of the client, I designed the unit to have some open shelves, some shuttered shelves and drawers for storing files and folders.
